Security can not be described simply. It is made up of objective and subjective elements, and its boundaries largely depend on who defines it. Furthermore, it possesses both a local and a global dimension. In order to respond to this complexity, a thorough knowledge of objective facts and different actors' expectations must be acquired. General analyses do not correspond any more to today's security landscape.
In the field of public security, we offer:
- The local security diagnostic: it is based on a crime victimisation survey as developed by the criminology and the analysis of socio-demographic, police, justice and emergency calls statistics. It offers scientific and quantitative insights into themes such as criminality, public disorders, fear of crime and the relations between the public and the police. This instrument is particularly well adapted to urban areas.
- Security marketing: it is based on an experts' survey and offers qualitative view on the main problems affecting the citizens and main local expectations towards the police. A security project management tool is also delivered with the analysis. It is adapted to rural areas.
We have acquired a strong experience in public security analysis through more than 20 diagnostics and security marketing projects across Europe. In order not to limit ourselves to observation, we propose actions plans, problem-solving and partnerships tools and we conduct evaluations of public security policies.
In the field of corporate security, both private and public, we carry out comprehensive security and safety audits. Upon clients' demands, we make sure to complement our analysis with the implementation of relevant risks reduction systems and crisis prevention and management tools.
